In 2013, Sohaib Latif earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Irvine. In 2016, Sohaib earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, Sohaib was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Constitutional Law. During his final year in law school, Sohaib externed for the Honorable Barry Russell, Chief Judge Emeritus of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Sohaib represented plaintiffs and defendants in general liability claims, giving him insight into how both sides will approach litigation. Additionally, Sohaib assisted small and medium-sized business owners with an array of transactional matters, including structuring, negotiating and drafting agreements. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Latif worked in the mortgage industry, advising wholesale lenders on compliance and liquidity issues.
Mr. Latif is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
