Ryan realized his passion for law while working at a Henderson estate planning firm where he helped clients create and maintain their businesses. There, he helped clients form business organizations and transfer assets; aided in the preparation of business agreements; and communicated with clients, attorneys, and advisors. He also maintained the annual records of more 250 company clients annually.
While in law school, Ryan received multiple merit awards including an academic scholarship, CALI awards for Legal Drafting and Mediation Essentials, and the Champion of Justice Award from Nevada Legal Services. He served in organizations including the Society of Advocates (Moot Court Team), Students United for Diversity in Law, and the Organization for Part-time and Non-Traditional Law Students. Ryan worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Abbi Silver, in the Nevada Court of Appeals and the Honorable Lloyd D. George, in the U.S. District Court of Nevada. He clerked for the Honorable Jerry A. Wiese of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, where he experienced a wide variety of civil matters. He was inducted in the Nevada American Inns of Court in 2017.
When not practicing law, Ryan enjoys spending time with family outdoors, cooking, traveling, volunteering with non-profit organizations, such as the Boy Scouts of America, March of Dimes, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
