Ms. Alberto attended New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Metropolitan Studies. While in New York, Ms. Alberto was an intern for the Legal Aid Society’s Brooklyn Neighborhood Office and the New York Legal Assistance Group’s Foreclosure Prevention Project. In 2016, Ms. Alberto earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she focused her studies in the Health Law and Environmental & Sustainability Law programs under the Center for Law, Science and Innovation. Ms. Alberto also served as an extern with the Legal Division of the Arizona Corporation Commission and the Arizona Court of Appeals Division I for the Honorable Jon W. Thompson.
Ms. Alberto began practicing law in the energy industry, representing the interests of industrial customers before the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada, the Oregon Public Utility Commission, and Bonneville Power Administration. Her practice in energy also included transactional and general counsel matters for electric cooperatives.
Ms. Alberto is now an associate in the Las Vegas office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara.
