Monique R. Donavan

Monique R. Donavan is a partner at the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara. Ms. Donavan has been with the firm since 2002 and has over 25 years of experience litigating a wide variety of general liability, premises liability and construction related large loss matters including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury and other catastrophic injury claims. She has represented general contractors, developers, subcontractors, business owners and individuals in complex litigation and business disputes from inception through trial. Ms. Donavan also has experience in insurance bad faith, drafting and negotiation of construction agreements and risk transfer contracts.Ms. Donavan has successfully negotiated and settled hundreds of large loss exposure cases and is well versed in law and motion having successfully obtained summary judgment for multiple clients involving a wide range of issues including the application of the Privette Doctrine. Ms. Donavan is a skilled litigator and has experience in all phases of litigation, including law and motion, discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial preparation and trial.

Ms. Donavan is a native Californian. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach in 1992 and her Juris Doctorate and Tax Certificate from Western State University, College of Law in 1995. Ms. Donavan is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California as well as the United States District Court in the Central, Southern and Northern Districts. She is a triathlete and an avid runner having completed over fifty marathons both in and outside of California.
