David L. Barch is an associate attorney with Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP in its Oakland office. Mr. Barch has been practicing law in California for the last 15 years, including two years of international arbitration work in Seoul, Korea. His practice is concentrated in all aspects of civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, construction defect, and other general liability matters. He also has experience in arbitration and trial practice, and appellate practice.
Mr. Barch is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He joined the firm in 2019.
Mr. Barch graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. degree in political science and Japanese studies. In 1999, he received his M.A. degree in international relations from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, and in 2014 he received his J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was editor of the Intellectual Property Law Review.
In his spare time, Mr. Barch divides his weekends between skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer. On those rare magical weekends in early spring, he is known to hit the slopes at Tahoe on a Saturday only to race back to the Bay Area in time for sailing on Sunday.
