Bita Azimi is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP. She focuses on General Civil Litigation, Construction Defect and Products Liability.
Ms. Azimi obtained her Bachelor of Arts from University of Southern California, in 1985, where she graduated Cum Laude in Political Science and International Relations and was the recipient of Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society Award. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California, in 1988, and was on the Dean’s List during the duration of her law studies.
Ms. Azimi has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1989 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is proud to have been petitioned for her admission to the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C. in 2007.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Ms. Azimi obtained extensive litigation experience on behalf of various insurance carriers, successfully representing hospitals, physicians and other healthcare professionals in numerous binding arbitrations, trials and on appeal. Many of the cases she handled involved birth and other catastrophic injuries as well as wrongful death arising out of medical and other professional negligence. Ms. Azimi also has a lengthy background in a wide variety of complex litigation including toxic tort, construction defect, products liability, Public Transport Systems, intellectual property, business litigation and real estate.
