Mr. Hotchkin is a senior associate in the Reno office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2007, he attended law school and received his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, with a focus in civil and criminal litigation. During law school, he also participated in the mock trial program. Mr. Hotchkin graduated from law school in 2011 and became licensed in California and Nevada in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
As a native Northern Nevadan, Mr. Hotchkin has extensive knowledge of and familiarity with the area, people, and local businesses, including in Northern California and Lake Tahoe. As these locales are well-known for their tight-knit local business and legal communities, Mr. Hotchkin offers extensive experience and intimate knowledge in this regard.
Since he joined Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP in 2013, Mr. Hotchkin gained and continues to gain substantial knowledge and experience in representing clients in various litigation matters, including but not limited to, personal injury, wrongful death, contract disputes, construction defect, and subrogation. Mr. Hotchkin was recognized by the Nevada Business Magazine as a member of the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Legal Elite, a list which includes only the top 4% of attorneys in Nevada.
Mr. Hotchkin is licensed to practice law in all state courts in California and Nevada, as well as the US District Court of California, Northern District, and US District Court of Nevada.
