On February 12, 2016, after a seven day trial involving an alleged wrongful
death in Reno, Nevada where Plaintiffs were seeking over $3 million in
damages, Bremer Whyte attorney August Hotchkin obtained a
verdict exonerating their client, Town House Motor Lodge. Plaintiffs
argued that the motel and its owners knew or should have known a drug
addict would drive onto the motel parking lot and kill a pedestrian. To do
so, Plaintiffs’ Counsel utilized the “Reptile Strategy” of litigation
throughout trial as a scare tactic to prejudice the jury against the
motel. Bremer Whyte has developed methodologies to combat this effective
strategy that is sweeping the country. Mr. Hotchkin also
prevailed in nullifying Plaintiffs’ relentless assault and attempts to
falsely portray the motel.
